| Island Lake Reservoir Development Our Island Lake Reservoir upgrade is nearing completion. This was part of our district-wide reservoir seismic upgrade. The district received a $1.1 Million dollar grant from FEMA to equip our reservoirs with earthquake valves to control unwanted flow from the reservoirs in the event of an earthquake. This project has been in the works since the Nisqually earthquake in 2001. |
