Conservation Tips from SWD16
If you are moving in and would like to establish service with us, please have the following
information ready when you call us:
- The name you want the account established in.
- Your service address.
- Your mailing address, if different than your service address.
- Your telephone number and work phone number.
- Your email address.
- Your forwarding address and new telephone number
- The name of the purchaser if you are selling your home.
- Date the property was sold.
- Efficient water use can save you money on water & utility bills.
- Install water-efficient shower heads and take shorter showers.
- In-sink garbage disposal devices use roughly 11.5 gallons of water each day. Try composting organic wastes instead of throwing them away.
- When doing laundry, pre-rinse clothes only when absolutely necessary.
- To reduce evaporation, water the lawn in the early morning or evening. Avoid watering during the heat of the day or when it is windy.
