Washington State RCW # 57.08.060 directs districts to collect payment from its customers for street lights, and to forward this money on the appropriate power utility.
All street light outages should be reported directly to Puget Sound Energy at
1-888-225-5773.
When reporting a street light that needs maintenance, please provide the following information:
1) The address and location of the problem light pole.
2) The 12-digit grid number or the Intolight tag number (i.e. SLAD 1234).
3) The nature of the problem.
Silverdale Water District conducts street light maintenance three times a year by sending a crew out to identify street lights in need of maintenance.
- Efficient water use can save you money on water & utility bills.
- Clean vegetables in a pan of water and not under a running faucet. Water used to clean vegetables can also be used to water houseplants.
- Check faucets and pipes for leaks. A small drip can waste 20 or more gallons of water per day.
- Each flush wastes water. Don't use the toilet as a wastebasket.
- Keep a bottle or pitcher of drinking water in the refrigerator. This eliminates letting the tap run while waiting for the water to get cold.
