February 2010 Highlights from this month's newsletter: Home and Garden Show -- Silverdale Water District will be participating in the Kitsap Home and Garden Show put on by the Home Builders Association. This yearís exhibit will focus on rain gardens. Rain gardens are beautiful, require a minimum amount of water and fertilizer once established and can provide homes for butterflies and other small animals. Please come see us at the Home Show.

EPA WaterSense Fix a Leak Week -- is March 15 - 21, 2010. Did you know that tenpercent of homes in the United States have leaks that
waste 90 gallons or more per day? Silverdale Water District encourages you to participate
in Fix a Leak Week, by checking all of your faucets, toilets, shower heads, and irrigation
